Red Barn Reno is owned and operated by Jamie McFadden. We are a carpentry and renovation business serving the GTA, Oakville, Ontario and surrounding areas since 2015. HOW IT ALL STARTED
Eventually an opportunity arose to completely change industries and start a new career. Jamie took the leap and began performing some woodworking projects for Lindsay’s designs. This led Jamie to a carpentry apprentice school. His instructor was a Master carpenter/cabinetmaker from England. Jamie would end up working with his mentor for several years, learning and perfecting this trade. Jamie moved on to another Renovation company where he worked with individuals that were highly skilled. The projects ranged from renovations, additions, new builds and commercial jobs. Expanding his knowledge in not only carpentry skills, but building code and all aspects of home renovations.
As time moved on, Lindsay as a successful landscape designer required a knowledgeable carpenter for her outdoor designs. It was only the right move to assist each other. Jamie started his own carpentry / contracting business and has since been working on interior renovations and outdoor carpentry projects.
The name Red Barn Renovations and Contracting comes from the red barn on Lindsay and Jamie’s property where Jamie set up his saws and first started his carpentry career. Jamie is married to Lindsay They are the proud parents of three children and live in Oakville. Lindsay is an established landscape and custom garden designer who collaborates with Red barn Reno on projects that require specialized landscape and garden design.
